40106 was out today and had 50015 with it as cover. However, 40106 performed that well that 50015 was removed from the train after one round trip and returned to depot. Therefore 40106 will be on the Diesel Diagram tomorrow, Sunday 18/03 unassisted.
There was a problem with a boiler switch at the back end of the day and James Bottomley very kindly delayed his planned night out tonight to swap a part off 40135’s boiler to ensure that we had steam heat tomorrow.
