CFPS Web forum

This forum has been set up so members of the Class 40 Preservation Society can discuss matters regarding the CFPS's locomotives and other related business.

If you wish to participate then please read the following rules before deciding to join.

• Only current members of the Class 40 Preservation Society can participate in this forum. 
• Persons who are not members will NOT be allowed to join
• Persons who have let their membership lapse will be deleted from the forum. However, they can reapply to join once they have renewed their membership.
• This is a serious attempt to create a FRIENDLY forum for genuine members of The CFPS. Your participation is welcomed but INSULTS ARE NOT.
• Anybody who uses foul language, makes personal insults or makes libellous comments will be removed from the board without notice.
• By applying to join this forum, YOU are PROMISING to show RESPECT to your fellow poster.
  If you feel you are unable to give that commitment, then please do not join.
• Friendly banter is fine but please keep this within limits and remember the sensibilities of others on the forum
• Messages/Postings on this forum are to be kept within this forum as it is for CFPS members only and NOT TO be posted elsewhere on any other forum. If you wish to quote or post pictures elsewhere please email the moderator (address below)

Failure to adhere to the above rules may result in your forum account being suspended

If you wish to join the forum then please email forum@cfpsweb.co.uk (Please change the AT to @ - this has been done to avoid spamming) Please supply the following.

• Your proposed username
• Your full name and membership number.
• Your membership expiry date.

Also register via the forum using your proposed username and email address. Once your details have been confirmed then your forum account will be activated. You MUST also display a 'signature' in all your posts displaying your full name and membership number. This can be done using the 'profile' section of the board.

If you do not send an email when you register your membership of the forum will not be activated.
